Inspiration*Vivian Maier*

Vivian Maier was an American amateur street photographer who was born in NYC but grew up in France, and after returning to the U.S., worked for about forty years as a nanny in Chicago..During those years she tooks about 100,000 photographs!
Her photographs remained unknow and mostly undeveloped until they were discovered by a local historian John Maloof in 2007.. She died in 2009.. Her first solo exhibition is running ate the Chicago Cultural Center fork January to April 2011.
(The book about her is scheduled to be released in fall 2011, and a feature-lenght documentary film about Maier and Maloof's discovery of her work, titled Finding Viviac Maier, is scheduled for release in 2012.)

Vivian Maier, Američanka, "street photographer", narodila se v NYC ale vyrostla ve Francii. Po návratu do Ameriky pracovala jako pěstounka v Chicagu. Po tuto dobu nafotila něco kolem 100,000 fotografií. Její fotky zůstali neobjeveny až do roku 2007, kdy je našel historik John Maloof. Zemrěla v roku 2009 a její první sólo vystava probíhá až teď, po její smrti v Chicagu..Připravuje se o ní knížka, která by měla být vydána na podzim 2011 a taky film v roku 2012..


*Je pro mě velkou inspirací a mým malým hrdinou.*
