Summer was started and I decided to visit my parents in Slovakia. And what I do? I am lying in the garden full of cherries, getting energy from the sun and I also found the old "deutsch Vogues" and I am really thrilled to see so  much pictures full of inspiration again...

Leto začalo a ja som sa vybrala na návštevu na Slovensko k rodičom. Je skvelé aspoň deň ležať na záhrade,  napchávať sa čerešňami a čerpať energiu zo slnka. Vytiahla som aj staré nemecké Vogue a nechávam sa nimi opäť inšpirovat...

Versace for H&M !!

This morning H&M announced that its Autumn 2011 designer collaboration will be with one of the world’s most legendary fashion brands, Versace. 
The collection will be full of leather, prints, colour and exuberance in exclusive materials at fantastic H&M prices! From 17th November the collection will be available in around 300 stores worlwide as well as online.
And Donatella Versace will aslo design a pre-spring collection for H&M ...


So I mark this date in my diary and I'm really excited and what about you?


Dnešné ráno H&M ohlásilo. že na ich jesennej kolekcií spolupracuje s jednou z najlegendárnejších módnych značiek Versace. Kolekcia bude k dostaniu od 17. novembra celosvetovo približne v 300 obchodoch a bude plná kože, potlačí v exkluzívnych materiáloch za skvelé ceny H&M.


Ja som si už tento dátum s potešením napísala do mojho diára  a čo vy?

1950s in fashion

The age of couture, wasp waist and the twin set..

Unlike the boxy silhouettes of rationed 1940s uniforms, 1950s fashions emphasized fragile femininity, in the form of soft shoulders, stiletto heels, wrist-length gloves and full, billowing skirts. Even working women's outfits hinted at fragility, with pencil-slim skirts and little hats with veil and feathers...

Doba couture, osieho pásu a twin setu.. Móda 50tych rokov zdorazňovala ženskú krehkosť formou jemných tvarov, ihlových podpatkov, dlhych rukavic a vlajúcih sukní. Taktiež pracovné odevy pre dámy  signalizovali ženskos - púzdrové sukne, malé klobúčiky s pierkami či závojmi..
